Mitt Romney is never going to be elected President of these United States of America. I know, a lot of so called conservatives try to come up with all kinds of reasons on why not, but they maintain that his religion will not be an issue; that we’ve grown beyond that, etc.

Bullshit. Mitt Romney’s religion is a goofy fuckin’ bunch of tripe. Granted, religion in general is pretty much a bunch of goofy tripe, but the Mormon religion takes the cake. The more that Mitt stirs up the pot the more likely that his religion will become an issue. About the time that the average American learns that Mitt believes that the leader of his church has a direct phone line to God, well, that will cause many to turn away.  Tell me, what’s the first thing that pops into your head when you hear about a religious leader claiming to be a prophet who talks to God? Two words; Jim Jones. If that’s not enough then the moment that it’s revealed that Mitt believes that good Mormon men will one day be a gods of there own planet and have lots of wives… It’s all over.

Well, it will be all over directly after the raucous laughing dies down.

This is really sad.  It’s amazing that this kind of senseless, offensive diatribe passes for intellectual discourse in this age.  Your callous dismissal of all things religious, pales in comparison to your inability to open your mind to other belief systems.  They say the democratic party is the party of ideas, that the left are the accepting half of the country.  Having read your “blog entry” above, all evidence is to the contrary.

First off, instead of simply rambling on about how senseless and offensive the post is, how about YOU try to actually counter anything within it with something resembling facts? Perhaps you could point out where I’m wrong?

One has to wonder just what the fuck that has to do with anything since I’m not a Democrat, nor am I part of the “left”. If you’d bothered to actually inform yourself of just what my ideas are, you would know that.

You are a fucking idiot. I am pretty sure that most religions claim to have a leader that communicates with God especially Catholics (which I am)....Pope anyone????

Religion is not an issue in the United States of America and should never be. That is what our country was based on.
